News Release:

Washington, D.C.     Today, Republican Senators introduced a bill to prevent President Biden's administration from making settlement payments to illegal immigrants who have broken U.S. laws. In late October, the Wall Street Journal reported that the Biden Administration was in talks to offer illegal immigrant families separated during the Trump Administration $450,000 per person.

Fox News is reporting that: The legislation would bar the use of federal funds, including the Judgment Fund, which pays for court judgments and lawsuit settlements against the federal government, for illegal immigrants if the settlements are related to their detention at the border after Jan. 20, 2017.

The bill is in response to reported plans by the administration to settle with illegal immigrants who were separated from family members during the Trump administration and are suing the government as a result.

American families are struggling to make ends meet and communities are becoming more unsafe, but Democrats do not seem to care. Amid a never-ending border crisis, Democrats also want to give amnesty to over 6 million illegal immigrants. House Democrats looking for a promotion, like Val Demings, Conor Lamb and Tim Ryan, made it clear that they support amnesty by voting in support of Biden's bill.

Do Democrat Senators like Maggie Hassan, Raphael Warnock, Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Michael Bennet support giving illegal immigrants amnesty and nearly half a million dollars for breaking our laws?
