2 new polls show massive Dem losses in youth, Hispanics | Eastern NC Now

young and Hispanics abandoning Democrats in droves

ENCNow

Two newly released polls show that two key constituencies are abandoning Biden and the Democrats, young voters and Hispanics.

A poll conducted by the major British owned polling firm YouGov for the major British newsmagazine The Economist, found that 50% of voters under age 30 disapprove of the job Biden is doing as president, while only 29% approve.  In January, as the administration launched, 79% of this age group approved of Biden, so he has suffered a 50 point drop among them.

Another poll by Scott Rasmussen's RMG Research, shows that among Hispanics, if the election for Congress were held today, 48% of them would vote for a generic Republican and 46% for a generic Democrat.  In the last mid-term election in 2018, Pew Research data shows that 69% of Hispanics voted Democrat and 29% Republican.

Among all voters, Rasmussen showed a 6 point Republican advantage over Democrats in Congressional races.
