Tearful Mother Of Bride Confronts Leftist Activists Crashing Wedding Sinema Officiated | Eastern North Carolina Now

    A woman whose daughter was getting married at a wedding where Arizona Democratic Senator Kyrsten Sinema officiated tearfully pleaded with leftist protesters not to protest at the wedding, but to no avail.

    The mother pleaded, "Could you just go down to that corner for an hour? It's my daughter's wedding. Just for an hour, just let her get married, please." A woman who was reportedly the bride echoed, "Thanks for ruining my wedding. I really appreciate it. It's just my wedding. I really wish I could enjoy my wedding without you ruining it."

    One protester reportedly responded, "You know what? She's [Sinema] ruining our lives!"

    A protester shouted at the mother, "Will you tell her that we don't like what she's [Sinema] doing to our country?" Another off-camera protester stated that Sinema is "corrupting the whole country."

    "Sinema was officiating the wedding for her personal friend, according to Tucson.com, when protesters arrived outside the venue, chanting and carrying signs that read phrases including, 'Sinema Betrays Democrats' and 'We voted for you - shouldn't you vote for us?' as seen in a video of the event posted to YouTube on Oct. 24," Fox News reported, adding, "Sinema spokesperson Hannah Hurley told Tucson.com in a statement that the senator 'officiated a personal friend's wedding at which a small group of activists protested during the private ceremony.'"

   

    Sinema has been repeatedly targeted by leftists lately. On October 5, at Reagan National Airport in Washington, D.C., Green New Deal Network Chief of Staff Kunoor Ojha badgered her, saying, "Hi, Senator Sinema? I want to ask if you can explain to the American people what you're planning on cutting from Joe Biden's 'Build Back Better' plan? ... Do you want to cut climate priorities? ... Is it elder care that you want to cut, or is it child care?"

    On October 4, leftists followed Sinema as she entered a public restroom at Arizona State University. One leftist standing outside Sinema's stall lectured, "We knocked on doors for you to get you elected. And just how we got you elected, we can get you out of office if you don't support what you promised us."

    The same day, a reporter asked President Biden, "Mr. President, you're talking about how you have 48 Democratic votes right now. The other two have been pressured over the weekend by activists. Joe Manchin had people on kayaks show up to his boat to yell at him. Senator Sinema last night was chased into a restroom. Do you think that those tactics are crossing a line?"

    "I don't think they're appropriate tactics, but it happens to everybody," Biden blithely answered. "The only people it doesn't happen to are people who have Secret Service standing around them. So, it's a part of the process."
