2 crossbow crimes in recent days - guns not needed | Eastern NC Now

will the left take up crossbow control?

ENCNow

If gun control makes it hard to get a gun, as it sometimes does in the UK, criminals turn to other means.  Knife crime is way up, for example.  But for some, more exotic weapons find favor.  A man was recently arrested after breaking into the grounds of Windsor Castle, armed with a crossbow, and intending to assassinate the Queen for some vague notion of "racism".

It is not just the UK.  In gun-controlled, Washington, DC, a woman armed with a crossbow robbed a Trader Joe's store recently.

The bottom line is that it is the control of criminals, not of weapons that is the key to stopping crime.
