Mass protests rock Germany against new Covid rules | Eastern NC Now

Protests against new government mandated Covid restrictions on citizens led to mass demonstrations across Germany as people objected to the government's actions.  It was not just the big cities, as numerous small cities and towns reported multiple thousands showing up at their local protest.  In some areas, the protests were peaceful, but in others the police complained of "being massively attacked with fireworks and bottles."
