Vienna newspaper says crowd as large as normal for NYE
Austrians turned out by the tens of thousands to celebrate New Years Eve in central Vienna, defying the government's Covid lockdown. The Vienna newspaper "Heute" reported that New Years Eve crowds in central Vienna were about the size of usual crowds in normal years.
