January 12, 2022 - Publisher's note: Due to a publishing SNAFU, I have been remiss in my duties, here at BCN, regarding the proper categorization of county government publications; in particular, the Enhanced County Government Videos, begun August 1, 2019.

Therefore, to thoroughly correct this miscue, I will make the proper categorical correction, and bring these archives forward beginning on January 12, 2022; mixing these historical patterns of fact in with the current news of our day. Some posts brought forward will not be video broadcasts, but most informative posts as to who and what you Beaufort County Commissioners are, and how they govern.

Beaufort County Commissioners have long been reluctant to deal with any national issues that influence local issues unless they are pre-approved by the Democratic Socialist Commissioners, a small minority of characters, who currently caucus with the Nominal Republicans to govern Beaufort County as the majority in charge.

Commissioner Hood Richardson has often commented: "We have a 7 member board, supposedly composed of 5 Republican Commissioners, so why do the 2 Democrats pick the chairman and vice chairman, and are in the majority vote when the Liberals get everything they want." Good question, which begs a better answer than is given, whenever it is given, where ever it is given, to whomever it is given. I make this elongated pronouncement because, when republicans don't know how to act like real Republicans, the result is always more and plentiful excuses. I hear them, as specious as they be be in context, they are continually uttered as a reason why these "Republicans" cannot, can never act as real Republicans, and support the defense of OUR Republic's Southern Border by resolution, or otherwise.

Enter Commissioner Hood Richardson who has another plan: In respect to the defense of OUR Southern Border, to file an amicus curiae (friend of the court) brief with whichever worthy plaintiff, usually a sovereign state, that seeks relief from the Biden /Harris Executive Branch that has publicly declined to perform their Constitutional duty to enforce the "Laws of the Land", due their duty, as they are sworn to fulfill.

Beaufort County Commissioner Hood Richardson endeavor's to provide a new twist to put Beaufort County in a position to limit the cost of an undefended Southern Border: Below.
