Sweden declares Covid pandemic OVER | Eastern NC Now

has had better results on Covid with only light restrictions, never a mask mandate

ENCNow

Sweden has taken a very light touch on government Covid restrictions and a a result had some of the lowest numbers of hospitalizations and deaths in Europe.  They never had a mask mandate, and had very few restrictions on the population.  Now the government has officially declared the Covid pandemic to be over and lifted the handful of restrictions, such as restaurants having to close at 11PM.

Swedish officials also recently warned against giving Covid vaccines to children, as the vaccine presented more risk of harm to them than Covid itself.  Sweden has had the best performing economy in Europe during the pandemic.
