Dem stronghold Kenosha, Wisconsin elects 1st Republican executive | Eastern NC Now
conservative challengers also win multiple school boards over CRT
The latest example of the "Red Wave" that is building is the election Tuesday of the first Republican county executive in Kenosha County, Wisconsin, a longtime Democrat stronghold which was the site of mass BLM / Antifa rioting, looting, and arson. Wisconsin is a swing state and this bodes well for a Republican wave in 2022 midterms.
A county executive is an office that combines the positions of county commission chairman and county manager.
At the same time, conservatives captured multiple school boards in Wisconsin by challenging liberal incumbents over Critical Race Theory (CRT), and in a special election "jungle primary" for Congress in a Hispanic-dominant district in California, the four Republicans running received a total of 64% of the vote while the two Democrats running shared 36%.
