RNC withdraws from Presidential Debate Commission | Eastern NC Now

The long progression of presidential "debates" really being serial interviews by leftwing Big Media personalities instead of real debates seems to be over.  The format,, the "moderators" and their biased questions were always stacked against Republicans.  In the last set of presidential "debates", former presidential candidate Bob Dole pointed out that he personally knew all of the directors of the Commission on Presidential Debates and that every one of them was opposed to President Trump.  That is not a fair setup.

Finally, the Republican National Committee is doing something about it.   They have voted unanimously to withdraw themselves and future GOP nominees from that rigged and biased commission.  The vote was unanimous, but it should have happened a long time ago.

Biased "moderators" asking questions is NOT a debate.  Maybe it is time to go back to a real debate format like the famous Lincoln - Douglas debates, where each candidate proposed half of the questions and they did not even have a moderator.  A debate should have a debate format, not an interview format.
