A Message to Voters of Beaufort County from Gary Carlton

    We know our Students are Years Behind in their education.

    Students' performance is well below average proficiency scores.

    The current school board, including Mr. Bilbro, is responsible for allowing the policies that can't provide a Real Education for our children. This is a lack of vision and a lack of leadership.

    I am running to replace Mr. Bilbro in District 6 and to oppose CRT as well as like policies. I will oppose the use of the Common Core curriculum.

• Veteran for 10 years in the National Guard

   

I want to be a strong voice for:

• Fiscal Responsibility
• Conservative Policies
• You the Voter who are parents with concerns

   

I Pledge:

• To stand form on quality education, against indoctrination
• To ensure transparency and accountability of the School Board and School Administration
• To ensure curriculum content is thoroughly examined
• To work toward Beaufort County tax payers getting the quality education equal to their investment.

    PS: My Father was the Principal and Superintendent of a Rural School District. My Mother, Sister, and Grandmother were teachers. I admire the dedication of all Teachers. I agree with my Father: "All Parents want for their children is to have a better opportunity than what they had."
