Ukrainian missiles destroy Russian oil hubs serving their troops in Donbas | Eastern NC Now

another logistical problem for Putin

Ukrainian missiles, landing ten minutes apart, destroyed two key oil facilities 70 miles inside Russia that supply Putin's army in the Donbas.  The first hit a commercial fuel depot and the second a military storage facility.  Massive fires erupted at both, leading to evacuation of nearby residences.  Both are part of the supply network for Russia's invasion force in the Donbas region of Ukraine.

This follows three major unexplained fires at key military-related facilities within two days very deep inside Russia, out of range of Ukrainian missiles.  Some attribute the fires to "Ukrainian lightning".  It could involve sabotage by anti-war Russians.

British defense analysts are saying that exhausted Russian troops are making no headway in the Donbas against a determined Ukrainian defense.     Meanwhile, Russia has lost almost 22,000 soldiers killed in its invasion of Ukraine, surpassing the 15,000 killed over ten years in Afghanistan.
