Major NC gun rights group endorses Kidwell but not Greg Murphy | Eastern North Carolina Now

Grassroots North Carolina is most important state level pro-gun organization

ENCNow

In evaluating candidates based on their positions and voting records on gun rights issues, North Carolina's most important statewide gun rights organization, Grassroots North Carolina strongly recommended through its Political Victory Fund that gun rights advocates vote for Keith Kidwell for NC House, but made no recommendation in the Congressional race in the 3rd Congressional district.  GRNC noted that Congressman Murphy's record on gun issues had weakened since the last election.  GRNC called Kidwell a major leader for gun rights legislation in the House

In the hard fought State Senate primary between GOP incumbents Norm Sanderson and Bob Steinburg, GRNC recommended voting for Sanderson.  In Pitt County's 9th House district, GRNC recommended Tony Moore.

For US Senate, GRNC strongly recommended Congressman Ted Budd, noting the Mark Walker was just a spoiler and that Pat McCrory had worked against gun rights as governor.
