Russia loses 3rd T-90 tank to Ukrainian home made drone | Eastern NC Now

Russia's most advanced tank is the T-90 and it has only a limited number of them.  T-90s cost US$6 million apiece to build. They were not used in the advance on Kyiv, but Russia has deployed them in the Donbas.  Ukraine has destroyed at least three of them, producing video footage to prove it.  The first was taken out by one of Ukraine's Turkish-made drones which have proven highly effective in the war.  The second one was destroyed by a ground-fired Swedish anti-tank missile that cost about $20,000 to make.

The latest destroyed T-90, however fell victim to a homemade Ukrainian drone dropping an old anti-tank missile on it from above.  The Ukrainians are hard at work producing more of these homemade drones to drop old anti-tank missiles on Russian armored vehicles, T-90s or otherwise.
