Press Release:

    Good afternoon,

After Tuesday night's primary election results, North Carolina Republicans claimed a major victory by turning out 146,000 more voters in the Republican primary than Democrat counterparts.

As Republican momentum ramps up, here are just a few reasons the choice between Ted Budd and Cheri Beasley should be an easy one this November:

  • On Crime: As the state supreme court's Chief Justice, Cheri Beasley threw out the indictment of a man who confessed to sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl.
  • On Law Enforcement: Beasley has fundraised with the notorious "defund the police" advocate Cori Bush despite North Carolina's unprecedented officer shortages.
  • On the Economy: Beasley pretends she wants to lower costs at a time when Democrat policies have caused prices in North Carolina to increase 10.8% since January 2021. Not to mention, Beasley admitted she would have voted to spend billions on a wasteful bill that would greenlight the radical left's wish list.
  • On the Filibuster: After months of flip-flopping, Beasley said in February that she would eliminate the filibuster if elected to the U.S. Senate.

"Given Tuesday night's enthusiastic voter turnout for Republicans across the Tar Heel state, we're wishing Cheri the best of luck this November. She's certainly going to need it, considering the bulk of her support has come from those outside North Carolina." - RNC Spokeswoman Savannah Viar
