FL Appeals court reinstates DeSantis redistricting map | Eastern NC Now
will give GOP four more Congressional seats
A Florida state appeals court has reinstated the new Congressional district map that was drawn by Governor DeSantis and passed by the Florida legislature. A trial court had enjoined the redrawing of one district in the panhandle, but their restraining order has now been dissolved. It is likely that the DeSantis map will be used at least for this coming election.
Republicans are likely to gain four new Congressional seats from the DeSantis map.
