ACLU had challenged Governor Abbott's order

Last year, Texas Governor Abbott ordered state officials to investigate child gender transitions as child abuse.  The ACLU sued and got a lower court to enjoin such investigations.  The Texas Supreme Court has now ruled that the investigations ordered by the governor can proceed.
