CINO policies sink Australian conservatives in election | Eastern NC Now

Covid overreach a big part of it

ENCNow

Australia's conservative coalition has lost their national parliamentary election, and the reason is their "conservative in name only" policies.  A big part of that was their Covid overreach, and polls have been showing that was a problem for Scot Morrison's government for many months.  Morrison's coalition is based on two parties, the rural-based National Party and the urban and suburban based Liberal Party ("liberal" in the traditional sense of small government and low taxes).

Morrison ousted his conservative coalition predecessor on the shoulders of a group of members of parliament who opposed green energy policies, and Morrison had shared their views at the time.  However, as Prime Minister, the more the attended globalist conferences on the subject, the more he bought in to the climate alarmist mantra.  Polls show that Australians are much more interested in their energy being cheap and reliable than in knuckling under to the demands of the climate alarmists.  Morrison's sellout to the climate crazies was also a factor in his loss.
