''green'' energy: electric rates double in one month in Australia | Eastern NC Now

expensive and unreliable wind and solar soak ratepayers

ENCNow

The expensive and unreliable nature of wind and solar energy has led to skyrocketing power prices the more that the electric grid depends on so-called "green" energy.  That has been illustrated recently when the higher cost of wind and solar and the high cost of replacing power on the spot market when weather conditions cut the output of wind and solar caused two Australian power companies to double their electric rates in the space of one month.

An article on the subject from the major newspaper The Australian is republished in Stop These Things:  https://stopthesethings.com/2022/05/22/prices-double-obsession-with-subsidised-wind-solar-causes-runaway-power-prices/

Thanks to the RINO leadership in the NC General Assembly, NC electric consumers will face the same debacle in the future due to the passage of the Green New Deal / climate alarmist HB951.   Phil Berger and Tim Moore screwed the NC electric consumer by ramming through that far left bill.
