Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) suggested on Monday that the federal government could sidestep any state laws regulating abortions by allowing Planned Parenthood "outposts" to set up on the outskirts of national parks.

Warren reportedly made the comments to The Washington Post's abortion reporter Caroline Kitchener, calling on President Joe Biden's administration to step up in the wake of the Supreme Court's 6-3 ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization - which resulted in a 5-4 decision overturning landmark abortion cases Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey.

"I just spoke with @ewarren, who suggested the Biden administration establish Planned Parenthood outposts on the edges of national parks," Kitchener tweeted. "'They could put up tents, have trained personnel - and be there to help people who need it. It's time to declare a medical emergency.'"

Warren has been outspoken on the issue since long before the Court's ruling came down last Friday, attending protests in the days after the early opinion draft - which aligned closely with the final decision - was leaked.

"I am angry because of who will pay the price for this! It will not be wealthy women. Wealthy women can get on an airplane. They can fly to another state. They can fly to another country. They can get the protection they need," Warren said at one such protest, her voice breaking. "This will fall on the poorest women. This will fall on the young women who have been abused, who are victims of incest. This will fall on those who have been raped. This will fall on mothers who are already struggling to work three jobs to be able to support the children they have."

And the Massachusetts liberal is far from the only member of Congress who is proposing "workarounds" for people who are trying to skirt new laws restricting abortion in the wake of the Supreme Court's ruling.

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) has also shared tips and directions for young women who are trying to obtain abortions in states where they are either restricted or no longer legal.

"It is possible that states who criminalize people who get abortions may begin to take advantage of digital surveillance to track people," the Congresswoman shared, advising women in impacted states to delete any apps that could track their menstrual cycles.

Mary Margaret Olohan contributed to this report.

With Roe v Wade (originated in 1973) overturned by the US Supreme Court, thereby allowing decisions on abortion legislation completely returned to the states: Where do you find your position on such a "Life and Death" issue for the American People?
Yes, I approve of the US Supreme Court's decision to reinstate this "medical" issue back to the states' legislative responsibility to regulate.
No, I believe that every woman should have complete access to abortion on demand.
This issue is far beyond my intellectual capacity to understand.

With respect to the leaked opinion not yet written for ratification regarding the U.S. Supreme Court's revisiting the original decision of Roe v Wade, whence now nonstop protests have erupted in neighborhoods where U.S. Supreme Court justices live, exhibiting the firm intent to intimidate these officers of the highest court in the land: What action should the federal authorities take?
Do nothing ... Protests are a fixture of a free society.
Enforce the law ... Federal codes exist to prohibit any intimidation through the pubic harassment of federal judges, especially Supreme Court justices.
I have no idea, however, northern Virginia School Board Members must be shielded from protests at all costs.
