The power from those offshore wind turbines will cost us four times as much as conventional electricity. Roy Cooper is all-in on that, too. Wind turbines harm commercial fishing as well as directly harming many sea creatures like whales, dolphins, crabs, and sea birds. They also create a hazardous waste problem and are a menace to navigation, both on the sea and in the air, both civilian and military. Wind turbines are much more harmful to the environment than oil production.
