Beaufort County Government Hears from their Solid Waste Consultant Regarding Mega Sites' Construction | Eastern North Carolina Now

Beaufort County's governing board of commissioners met June 28, 2022 to discuss a continuing issue of how to best handle solid waste here in Beaufort County by employing the concept of two proposed "mega sites;" one on the north side of the Pamlico River, the other on the south side. At this special called meeting, the commissioners met with their hired consultant, Beaufort County native Vance Moore, to determine what might be the most practical process for handling solid waste in a desired effort to be more effective in minimizing the cost and impact of the ongoing conundrum of how to best dispose of the People's refuse.

Should Beaufort County's Commissioners fund more projects, while adding to the county government work force, or, should these servants to the People work to cut wasteful spending, and give the taxpayers of Beaufort County a break on taxes, possibly starting a new purpose for their existence?
Yes, please spend more; so much needs to be done in Beaufort County, and we need more government employees doing it.
No, please work to be frugal; more mindful that this is the public's money, and return to taxpayers what is not absolutely needed.
Why should I pay attention to stuff?
