It's interesting that the one room school house produced generations of adults who built the country with new and time saving inventions, fought and won two world wars and was a shining example to the rest of the world with the strength of our economic, political and social institutions leading the way. But all that has changed , hasn't it? Now we have a public school system that is DEAD ON ARRIVAL. Educationally, we can no longer compete in the world and something needs to change.

  • We need more real men in our classrooms. Many students have NO suitable role model in their lives. The constant hand-holding that goes on in many of our schools must stop. We need to treat students as if they have two feet and make them stand on them. The consequences of hand-holding is evident in what's left of our country.
  • We need scheduling and curricular that allows students to delve into ALL the creative and imaginative thinking of man. We need to make available to every student not only the basics (GOD, I hate that term) but physical education. The arts and vocational training. All of these need to be inculcated into the curriculum from 6th - 12th grade. I KNOW HOW TO DO THAT.
  • Public education has become a political football subject to the whims of politicians and bureaucrats. It is subject to whatever fad someone with a profit motive in mind deems it to be. While they are lining their pockets, students, parents and teachers have holes in theirs. Get politics out of the schools!!!
  • School administrators, school boards and teacher unions need to be at the beck and call of their constituents. If they are not, you have a tyranny that is slowly leading us to continued failure.
  • FOLLOW THE YELLOW ARROW.
