''Asylum'' has become a racket, both here and in Europe. Illegal aliens are coached on saying the right things to get past the first interview. Very few of them are able to prove asylum when they get to court, which is why most of them never show up for the hearings. We need to stop the asylum fraud. One way to do that is to polygraph anyone claiming asylum and if they don't pass the polygraph, they don't pass the first interview and are expelled from the country. Illegal aliens are notorious for lying to try to get into western countries.
