Conservative Club to meet Thursday, July 21 | Eastern NC Now

According to the recent Gallup poll, confidence in America's public schools has sunk to a near record low.  Only 28% say they have confidence in our public schools.  That includes 14% of Republicans, 28% of Independents, and 43% of Democrats.   This comes at a time that lots of ideological propaganda on subjects ranging from Critical Race Theory to Gender ideology to climate alarmism is being fed to students.

We need an educated Work-Force in Beaufort County and our Curriculum Committee is working hard on that.  We now have 24 Boat Builders in a 40 mile radius of Washington NC and people that cannot read a ruler.

We need all concerned Citizens to be at this meeting.

For this meeting we have a special guest speaker, Victoria Hamill, Director of CTE (Career Technical Training) to present a much-needed program for Beaufort County.

A recent Local GOP Executive Committee meeting shifted local funds from our local elections to State Elections.  Steve Rader will give us an update.

Terry Williams, one of our more conservative School Board members will be on hand to help us with questions and answers.

Ray Leary, Curriculum Committee Chairman for Citizens for Better Government will bring us real numbers on where our Public Schools in Beaufort County stand on grade levels.

Adam O’Neal, Campaign Manager for Charles Hickman will give us an up-date on this very important School Board candidate.

Tandy Dunn will give us an update on his race for County Commissioner.
