Manchin-Schumer tax and spend bill screws Americans

The tax and spend bill recently negotiated between Senator Joe Manchin and Chuck Schumer has the Orwellian name of "Inflation Reduction Act" but it does just the opposite. Its big spending will drive inflation and its tax increases will deepen the recession.

It screws Americans in multiple ways:

1) its massive spending will drive inflation higher

2) Its tax increases will deepen the recession. Taxes on corporations are always passed on by the corporations to consumers, so this will actually be increasing taxes on consumers.

3) Its pushing expensive "green energy" will drive up electric rates.

4) Its hiring 80,000 new IRS agents to audit taxpayers will cause a lot of harassment and grief to taxpayers,

Manchin needs to be defeated. He is as phony as a three dollar bill. The taxpayers of America are getting reamed by this legislation, and it is full of stuff Manchin has always claimed he was against like subsidies for buying electric cars. Meanwhile we are taxes to death and our electric rates will soon do what our gas prices already have.

I really would not expect anything different than this from the democrats. I have to wonder in all those pages how much aid people invading this country will get while citizens get screwed and destroyed.
