Hispanics moving away from Democrats on key issue

ENCNow

A recent poll by Ipsos for the liberal site Axios shows that Hispanic voters are moving away from Democrat positions on illegal immigration as support for secure borders grows among this constituency.  Asked which was more important, helping poor people leave bad conditions in their home country or securing America's borders, almost 43% of Hispanics chose securing America's borders, and that included a majority of those from places other than Mexico and Central America.  Those of Mexican origin came in close to the overall average while it was those from Central America who overwhelmingly went with helping migrants.
