UK power prices to quadruple from Net Zero CO2 policy | Eastern NC Now

The Australian, a major newspaper in that country, is reporting that power prices in the UK will quadruple due to the Net Zero policy on CO2 pursued by its government.  North Carolina is following the same dystopian path with the RINO legislative leaders ramming NC's own Green New Deal, HB 951, through the legislature last year.

The article in The Australian reports that the UK once relied primarily on coal it produced itself for its electric power needs but now primarily relies on wind power, much of it offshore, which is the most expensive type of wind power.  The UK also uses a dwindling amount of nuclear power, and gas, both from domestic gas and from imported gas from Norway and solar.

The result is that the quality of life of the British people and the British economy will suffer immensely from the climate crusade. Many small businesses, unable to afford the skyrocketing power bills are closing.  The traditional British pub may become a rarity.
