RINO NC Senate leader Phil Berger gets write-in opponent | Eastern NC Now

Alvin Robinson, a black Christian conservative is challenging RINO NC Senate GOP leader Phil Berger as a write-in candidate in the November election. Berger was once a conservative stalwart but in the last few years has veered off to the left in a big way.  Berger led the legislature's betrayal of Christian conservatives and sell out to the gender benders in repeal of the bathroom / locker room privavy law, HB2.  Last year Berger was the prime mover in the power play that rammed NC's radical Green New Deal, HB951 through the legislature, which will cost electric ratepayers a fortune.  This year, Berger has been pushing hard to sell out to Roy Cooper on implementing the Obamacare Medicaid Expansion in North Carolina.
