Belgian mayor blasts "Green dogmatics" for energy crisis | Eastern NC Now

Bart de Wever, mayor of the major Belgian city of Antwerp, the country's most important port, went on TV to blast "Green dogmatics" for creating an energy crisis that "is making Belgium the new Greece".  The mayor pointed out that the climate alarmists had led Germany and Belgium to shut down nuclear, oil, and coal power, leaving them vulnerable to Russia shutting off their gas.

"We have pushed away all energy sources, making ourselves dependent on Putin," de Wever declared. "Now we hang for it."  He pointed out that the energy situation was causing companies to move out of Europe. "This is Green dogmatics. People should start realizing this."
