NYT poll says Americans think MSM is a major threat to democracy | Eastern NC Now

The New York Times is itself a part of the self-styled "mainstream media" and indeed one of its more left wing members,  but a poll they just conducted shows that most Americans think democracy is under threat, and it is the "mainsream media" that constitutes its biggest threat.

The poll found 59% of Americans believe that the "mainstream media" poses a major threat to democracy, while 24% say it poses a minor threat to democracy and only 16% say it poses no threat to democracy.
