Calls rise to replace McCarthy as GOP US House leader UPDATED | Eastern NC Now
''You do not reward mediocrity''
New calls are arising for new Republican leadership in the US House of Representatives, as blame grows on current GOP leader Kevin McCarthy for the mediocre performance in the 2022 election.
UPDATE: Congressman Bob Good (R-VA) has said in a TV interview that "there will absolutely be a challenge to Kevin McCarthy. Good is a member of the Freedom Caucus.
Meanwhile Senators Josh Hawley and Tom Cotton are leading an effort in the Senate to replace "China Mitch" McConnell as GOP leader. McConnell actually did things that hurt the Republican Senate ticket, and did not make any leadership moves to focus the public on issues.
When Biden, as leader of the most extreme administration in US history, tried to blame Republicans for "extremism", the Washington establishment GOP swamp including McConnell, were silent when they should have been pushing back.
