Poll: only 7% have favorable view of McConnell, 81% unfavorable | Eastern NC Now

if this disaster of a leader respected the party, he would step down as leader

ENCNow

As the swamp Republicans try to forcefeed McConnell to GOP senators for another term as GOP Senate leader, a new poll shows how much he is damaged goods and hurts the party by being its face in the Senate.  Only 7% of Americans have a favorable view of Mitch McConnell, while 81% have an unfavorable view of him.  That makes him "underwater" by an incredible 71 points.  Nobody likes him - not Democrats, not Republicans, not Independents.  McConnell is a drag on the GOP ticket and that undoubtedly impacted our election results for the Senate.

While McConnell has always been unpopular with voters, his favorability dropped significantly since Biden took office.  Toward the end of the Trump administration, McConnell reached a 30% approval rating.

If we want to win in 2024 we simply have to dump this lead anchor on our GOP ticket.
