    The character trait for the month of January at Northeast Elementary has been perseverance. Each teacher nominates a student that best exemplifies this trait.

    One nominee from Kindergarten through grade five and another winner from sixth through eighth grades are nominated as school-wide winners a then submitted to the superintendent. A county winner will then be chosen from nominees from all schools in the county by the superintendent. Northeast Elementary is proud to announce that third grader Christian Abramson and eighth grader Dustin Mobley are schoolwide winners.
