“When Christ, the Son of God, was born into this world of wars and bloodshed, the Bible says the angels appeared to shepherds and said, ‘Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men’ (Luke 2:14). Christ, the Prince of Peace, came to bring peace. Wars and fights happen because we are at war with God in our hearts. We are full of sin that spills out of us, creating divisions, hatred, and fights.
“Don’t fight with your family at the Christmas dinner table. That defiles the whole meaning of the occasion. Yes, the faithful follower of Christ should always be at war with sin, but let us remember Christ came to bring peace. Therefore, let us pray for peace, work for peace, and share the possibility of peace for everyone who surrenders to Christ as Savior and Lord.”
