    GREENVILLE     Dare Medical Associates is now affiliated with Vidant Medical Group, operating under the name Vidant Family Medicine – Manteo.

    “We are excited about the opportunity,” said Dr. Walter Holton, MD. “We know it will be a beneficial change for us and our patients to affiliate with Vidant Medical Group.”

    Vidant Family Medicine - Manteo offers comprehensive health care for both children and adults, including preventive care and wellness screenings as well as urgent and acute care for the Manteo, Currituck, Duck, Corolla and Outer Banks areas, and is located at 604 Amanda Street. Main office hours are Monday-Thursday 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

    Holton and Ann Cara Sumners, MD, are the primary providers of services. Holton has a clinical interest in occupational health. Sumners specializes in diabetes care, preventive medicine and wellness, special needs patient population, and primary care.
