Belgian farmers besiege capital in protest over "green" policies | Eastern North Carolina Now

The ongoing revolt of Dutch farmers against draconian EU-inspired environmental restricitions that would put many of them out of business has now spread to neighboring Belgium where similar restrictions have now been proposed.  Farmers, along with 2,700 tractors and other farm machinery have descended on the national capital of Brussels, blocking roads and staging protests,  A popular sign is "No Farmers, No Food".

As in the Netherlands, support for populist / nationalist parties of the right is surging in Belgium as the public rejects this "green" agenda that threatens their food supply. Provincial elections in the Netherlands in two weeks are expected to show a big swing away from the establishment parties and to the parties of the populist / nationalist right.  The new provincial councils will then select members of the Dutch Senate, which is expected to swing significantly to the right as a result.

UPDATE: A new poll in the Netherlands by Amsterdam's De Telegraaf newspaper finds that 83% of Dutch voters want globalist Prime Minister Mark Rutte, a disciple of the WEF, to resign.  Rutte's popularity has been badly underwater for months due to his attacks on the farming sector, and has now been hit by a new scandal off gas fields.  The Dutch people have had enough of this globalist.  https://www.telegraaf.nl/watuzegt/2137705391/uitslag-stelling-gas-enquete-de-druppel
