also blocks gender identity and sexual discussions in early grades

ENCNow

The Arkansas legislature has passed universal school choice for its citizens, which will give parents a $7,413 voucher for each school aged child every year to use at any school of their choice, public or private.  The bill passed the state House by vote of 78 to 21 after passing the Senate 25 to 7, and the governor has announced she will sign it. This is a huge leap in ending the virtual monopoly on educatoin by government run schools.

The bill also prohibits presentatioin of radical gender ideology and sexualization of children in the elementary grades.

Arizona through the initiative and referendum process is the only other state so far to adopt universal school choice for parents.

North Carolina has a limited school choice program for low income families, and could do well to follow Arizona and Arkansas.

This is something we need right here in North Carolina. The private sector has done a much better job with education than the public schools and they have done it with less money. We need more schools like Terra Ceia and Pungo and fewer like the failing Beaufort County Schools.
