Italy cracks down hard on human smugglers in new laws | Eastern North Carolina Now

Italy's conservative Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has used the recent shipwreck that killed dozens of illegal alien migrants to introduce new laws greatly increasing the criminal penalties for human smuggling.  Human smugglers will now be eligible for prison sentences of up to 30 years.  Italy will also be stepping up its investigation of human smuggling in the countries of origin so as to increase arrests of human smugglers bound for Italy.

Meloni also announced that the strict policies against migrant boats landing in Italy that had been imposed under Matteo Salvini, whose party is a coalition partner with Meloni's Brothers of Italy, were going to be re-enacted.  The intervening globalist interim government had repealed them.  Meloni has already imposed other new policies to stop the migrant "rescue" ships from landing illegal aliens in Italy.

The US needs to look to countries like Italy, Poland, Hungary, and Australia on how to stop illegal immigration.

This is something our border states could do. For example, Texas could provide for the death penalty for the state crime of human smuggling. That would be a huge deterrent.
