    Mrs. Edelmira Cisneros, age 68, a resident of Ricks St., Washington, NC, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at Vidant Medical Center.

    A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 5:30 PM in the chapel of Hillside Funeral Service officiated by Pastor Cornelio SanJuan. Burial will be held at a later date in Guasave, Sinaloa, Mexico. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 3, 2013 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM at Hillside Funeral Service & Cremations, 4500 Hwy 264 E., Washington, NC.

    Edelmira was born in Michoacan, Mexico on May 23, 1944 daughter of the late Rogelio Cisneros Munguia and Silveria Sanchez Moreno. She has lived Washington for the past 15 years and was a homemaker. Edelmira was married to Manuel Morales Morales who survives. She attended Mother of Mercy Catholic Church.

    In addition to her husband, Edelmira is survived by her children, Maria Guadulupe Morales Cisneros of Mexico, Adriana Elizabeth Cisneros Briley of Grimesland, Olivia Margarita Cisneros Lopez and Raquel Morales Cisneros both of Washington; brothers and sisters, Everardo Cisneros Sanchez, Alberto Cisneros Sanchez, Rogelio Cisneros Sanchez, Jose' Cisneros Sanchez, Maria de Jesus and Jesus de Maria; twelve grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

    In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jose' Manuel Morales Cisneros.
