Rasmussen poll: GOP voters view McConnell very unfavorably

RINO Senate leader Mitch McConnell is viewed very unfavorably by Republican voters while the same voters have a favorable view of House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and President Donald Trump. Republican voters even look more unfavorably on McConnell than do Democrat voters, according to the latest Rasmussen poll.

Among all voters, 52% view both Trump and McCarthy favorably, but only 31% view McConnell favorably. 60% view McConnell unfavorably.

Among Republicans, 77% view Trump favorably, 71% view McCarthy favorably, and only 32% view McConnell favorably. Ironically, a few more Democrats, 35%, view McConnell favorably than Republicans.

McConnell's M.O. of constantly selling out to the Democrats is not getting him liked by anybody and is hurting the party's image. Sadly, NC legislative leaders Phil Berger and Tim Moore who operate much like McConnell, instead of like McCarthy, would almost certainly get similar low polling scores as McConnell.

What keeps McConnel in power in the Senate is the huge slush fund of money that cones into the Senate PAC from special interests and lobbyists. Yes Virginia, government is for sale. We need an honorable person who does not have the same character flaws as McConnell to lead the Senate. That PAC should not be controlled by the Senate Leaader.

McConnell is functionally a Dmeocrat, not a Republican, and the sooner he can be removed as GOP Senate leader, the sooner we can get to work on getting a Senate majority back. McConnell always tries to screw conservatives in both primaries and general elections, as he did in 2022. NEVER MCCONNELL. Our NC legislative leaders Berger and Moore are, indeed, just as bad as they just proved with the Obamacare Medicaid expannsion. The Democrats have a "Fifth Column" among the "GOP leadership" in the US Senate and the NC General Assembly. Many of us were wary of McCarthy due to his past, but he has stepped up and become a real Republican leader, unlike McConnell, Berger, and Moore.
