Substitute Teaching Class offered in Hyde County | Eastern NC Now

    The Division of Continuing Education at Beaufort County Community College will offer a class in Hyde County to prepare participants to be substitute teachers in the local public school system.

    The class will be 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays, beginning April 9 and ending May 2, at Mattamuskeet School.

    The instructor is Patty Jones. The registration fee is $65. The required textbook can be purchased at the first class meeting for those who pre-register or is available at the BCCC Bookstore prior to the first class at a cost of $33.50.

    The course is co-sponsored by Hyde County Schools.
