North Dakota requires school to notify parents if children present as transgender | Eastern North Carolina Now

North Dakota's governor has just signed three new pieces of legislation into law cracking down on radical gender ideology.  All of them passed the legislature by wide margins.

The most talked about bill involves the schools.  It requires schools to notify parents if their children present in school as transgender, requires that school bathrooms and locker rooms be restricted to a single biological sex, and bans schools from requiting anyone to use "preferred pronouns".

Another bill prohibits genital mutilation surgery on children, as well as use of chemical castration drugs and other powerful drugs for "gender transition" of children.  A third bill narrowly defines the terms "male" and "female" based strictly on biology.

In North Carolina, a bill to prohibit child genital mutilation surgery has passed the NC House and gone to the Senate, but it critically fails to prohibit chemical castration and other powerful drugs to be used on children for "gender reassignment".  It does ban state funding of the latter but not the actual procedure.  Hopefully that failing will be remedied in the Senate.  The problem in the House is that RINO Speaker Tim Moore has a nest of homosexual sympathizers on his staff, including a leader of NC's main Gaystapo "gay rights" organization as his Deputy Chief of Staff.

All of these laws passed in North Dakota are good ones. It is to be hoped that NC will pass the Parents Bill of Rights to do the same thing. Right now, the Beaufort County schools allow staff to hide this from parents, and that is not right.
