Biden reduces China tariffs, House restored the tariffs, then Biden vetoed bill
Most Democrats backed Biden in a veto override attempt, and in doing so also backed Red China and its dumping of products on the American market.
At issue were tariffs on Chinese solar panels originally imposed by Obama because of China's predatory anti-competitive dumping practice with solar panels. Many conponents of them are also made with Uyghur slave labor. One of Biden's many pro-China policies was to significanly cut these tariffs, leading Congress to pass bi-partisan legislation to restore the Obama imposed tariffs. Biden vetoed the bill, standing with China's interests against those of the US. On the veto attempt, most Democrats voted for the Biden / China position and the veto override attempt failed.
