Texas legislature passes bill to ban woke DEI in higher educatoin | Eastern NC Now

Texas has become the latest state to ban the woke DEI dogma ("Diversity, Equity, Incllusion") from its universities.  The bill requires all public universities in Texas to shut down all DEI offices, programs, and trainings within 6 months and allows any student or employee subject to DEI trainings or requirements to sue their univerisity for damages. The bill has now passed the House and Senate and gone to the govenror.

While universities have gotten the most attention on the DEI problem because they have built high paid bureaucracies around it and mandated more onerous requirements on students and staff, this poison is also in our public schools.  It is embedded in public school curriculum and is being foisted upon staff and students.  Legislation is also needed to ban DEI in public schools.
