California Teacher On Leave Over Video Of Her Teaching Kids About Anal Sex, Sex Toys | Eastern NC Now

    A California teacher has been placed on leave over a video showing her teaching students about sex toys and discussing sexual pleasure for the prostate.

    Judy Rehburg, a physiology and AP environmental science teacher at El Dorado High School in Placentia, has been placed on administrative leave after parents who viewed the footage sounded off about the sexual content in her class.

    "District employees are trusted to exercise professional judgment when deciding whether or not a particular issue is suitable for study or discussion," Alyssa Griffiths, a spokeswoman for the Placentia-Yorba Linda school district, told the Orange County Register.

    "In the classroom, employees act on behalf of the district and are expected to follow the adopted curriculum, and they should not advocate personal opinions or viewpoints," the spokeswoman said.

    In a video secretly recorded by a student, Rehburg describes how to pleasure a partner during anal sex and discusses where to buy sex toys.

    "Here is where the prostate is. So you don't have to go inside the booty hole, you can actually just push on the seam, and that stimulates the prostate gland as well, and they apparently really like that," Rehburg told students.

    "That's why for male and male, anal sex is still very pleasurable because of the fact that it hits the prostate, and there's a lot of nerve endings in your booty as well," the teacher continued. "So the girls, the g-spot, prostate, they're the equivalent to each other."

    The teacher went on to inform students that both Target and CVS now sell sex toys.

    "Target has them now, sex toys," Rehburg said. "Seriously, if you go to Target and go over where the tampons and pads are, they have, they just look like a little box, but if you open up ... bam, sex toy."

    "CVS, yes, CVS has them too, a lot of them," Rehburg said, appearing to respond to a student's comment. "And so that's why when you look at the toys, a lot of them look like this, and the reason because is for finding that spot."

    Rehburg's anatomy and physiology class syllabus says the course may include classes on pregnancy and the reproductive system. It does not mention sex toys or sexual pleasure.

    The school district said it is investigating Rehburg for her conduct in class.

    However, the district "will continue to work diligently to ensure that all students are afforded the opportunity to learn in a safe and respectful environment," the school district spokeswoman said.

    The California Healthy Youth Act requires sex education to be inclusive of different sexual orientations and teach students about gender identity. The law does not mention teaching about sexual pleasure or sex toys.

    At a school board meeting on Tuesday, some parents called for Rehburg to be fired.

    Some expressed their support, one mother telling the Register that Rehburg is "everybody's favorite teacher. She's kind. She loves nature, plants, birds and all biology."


    The mom said Rehburg previously taught similar material to her daughter.

    Last year, the Placentia-Yorba Linda school board banned Critical Race Theory from being taught in the district's schools.

    "Keep the politics, the social justice, all of the noise out and just educate our kids," board member Leandra Blades said at the time.
