It's Open! U.S. 17 Business opens after a year | Eastern NC Now

Second biggest DOT boondoggle in Beaufort County, second only to the location of the US 17 By Pass on the western side of Washington

After being closed for nearly a year, the bridge over the railroad on U. S. 17 Business is open.  We'll wait and see now if the local businesses who suffered while this tragedy played out will return.

Glad they finally got at least 2 lanes open.
According to an article on another site. "The bridge has been closed since November 30, 2021."
