Biden gave $2.35 Billion to Taliban-ruled Afghanistan | Eastern NC Now

The Special Investigator General for Afghanistan Reconstruction (SIGAR) is an office created to oversee aid to the previous pro-western government of Afghanistan but as federal agencies never seem to die, it is still around, and in this case that might be a good thing because they are still watched US funds go the Afghanistan.  It they were not still working, we probably would not find out what was going on.

SIGAR has just issued a report on Biden admnistration financial aid to Afghanistan since the Taliban takeover and found that Biden has funneled $2.35 Billion to them, with another $1.7 Billion available to give to them.  They reported that the Biden regime had been stonewalling them on providing information but they had ultimately ferreted it out.

Afghanistan under Taliban rule is not a friendly country like Ukraine.  It is a rigid Islamic extremist dictatorship that is severely hostile to the US and to the west in general.  Why in the world would any American government be sending them billions of dollars?
