Maui fire: electric company focused on climate change not wildfire danger | Eastern NC Now
Failed to spend money to stabilize electric power lines
As sparking downed electric power lines seem to be the likely ignition source of Maui's devastating wildfires, the Wall Srreet Journal has published an article accusing Hawaii Electric of being so focused on climate and "green energy" that it neglected to spend money and effort on securing its electric lines in high winds. The company had actually studied how that problem had led to wildfires in California but did nothing about it with their own electric system. Its focus has been on building wind and solar power instead.
While the left has claimed "climate change" was the cause of the wildfires, a more realistic assessment would be a fixation on climate alarmism is more likely the culprit.

"conspiracy theory" is a term thrown around by the far left for information that does not fit their narrative and is a threat to their narrative. ANd this is a weird allegation. Apparently you think Joe Biden admitted to your "conspiracy theory". And you think Nobel Prize winning scientists are part of it, too.
Real secience is based on open debate and testing of theories, but not the mad science of climate alarmism which is based on rigid adherence to the narrative. A statement by Biden exposed the very fluid way lefties like Bobbie use the term "truth". They use it to mean "true" to their beliefs, agenda, or narrative, not in the sense of things being factually true. A clip of that Biden statement is played on Hannity's radio show fairly often.
