Maui fire: electric company focused on climate change not wildfire danger

As sparking downed electric power lines seem to be the likely ignition source of Maui's devastating wildfires, the Wall Srreet Journal has published an article accusing Hawaii Electric of being so focused on climate and "green energy" that it neglected to spend money and effort on securing its electric lines in high winds. The company had actually studied how that problem had led to wildfires in California but did nothing about it with their own electric system. Its focus has been on building wind and solar power instead.

While the left has claimed "climate change" was the cause of the wildfires, a more realistic assessment would be a fixation on climate alarmism is more likely the culprit.

"conspiracy theory" is a term thrown around by the far left for information that does not fit their narrative and is a threat to their narrative. ANd this is a weird allegation. Apparently you think Joe Biden admitted to your "conspiracy theory". And you think Nobel Prize winning scientists are part of it, too.

Real secience is based on open debate and testing of theories, but not the mad science of climate alarmism which is based on rigid adherence to the narrative. As Dr. Vaclav Klaus, former president and prime minister of the Czech Republic observed, climate alarmism is "a budding totalitarian ideology that is the greatest threat to freedom, democracy, and prosperity in the world today."

A statement by Biden exposed the very fluid way lefties like Bobbie use the term "truth". They use it to mean "true" to their beliefs, agenda, or narrative, not in the sense of things being factually true. A clip of that Biden statement is played on Hannity's radio show fairly often. In it Biden says "we support truth over facts." Yeah, don't let those pesky facts get in the way, Joey Boy!

During the Medieval Warm Period, which was significantly warmer than today for several centuries, there was no need for people to rethink how they did anything. Indeed, with the warm weather, it was a very prosperous time. It was the next cycle, a cold cycle known as the Little Ice Age or the Maunder Minimum, that presented more of a challenge to human society. Then there was the granddaddy of all warm periods, the Holocene Maximum, when it was much warmer than today for three thousand years. That was the heyday of ancient Greek civilization, and ancient Greek writings show they also did not have to rethink anything due to it being warm, and again it was a very prosperous time.

That "rethinking" you support is nothing but globalist efforts at people control, part of Klaus Schwab's "Great Reset", and why the left hypes this "climate change" mania so hard

Hawaii's electric company KNEW the lesson. THey studied what happened in California FIVE YEARS AGO. And it is MORE than just turning power off sometimes. It is protecting power lines from blowing down. But they would rather build hideous and inefficient wind and solar farms instead.

It is your woke "global warming" narrative that is untrue. The Earth has always gone through cyclical warming and cooling cycles. We are in one of those natural cycles right now and turning over our energy sector to control by China which dominates the wind and solar supply chain is just nuts, Bolshevik Bob. It is now being reported by the Real Media that Maui burned while the environmental flakes, in this Leftist governed island, debated the correct use of the public's water.

Think about this unavoidable truth: Men, Women and Children burned alive while the Leftist governing leadership coveted their precious water and its public usage in terms of "equity."

Just to be absolutely clear, Maui is surrounded by the largest ocean in the world, yet people burned alive while Leftist fools dithered with their insipid policies of Stupid.
