McConnell ties become issue in WV GOP Senate primary for RINO candidate | Eastern NC Now

Club for Growth ad blasts connections between Jim Justice and Mitch McConnell

ENCNow

West Virginia's US Senate seat is a prime pick up opportunity for Republicans and features a battle for the GOP nomination between conservative Congressman Alex Mooney, who was endorsed by Trump in his congressional primary, and Democrat-turned-Republican Governor Jim Justice, a squishy establishment type.  The seat is currently held by Joe Manchin.

The two major national conservative  PACs,  the Senate Conservatives Fund and the Club for Growth are already active pushing Mooney's candidacy.  Both were instrumental in North Carolina's last Senate primary in helping nominate Ted Budd.  The Club for Growth has just put out a TV ad exposing Justice's ties to McConnell:

Great TV ad to take down a real RINO. I will send Mooney some money to help take that seat for conservatives. "China Mitch" McConnell is a disgrace and we do not need any more of his type.
